Shrewsbury Town FC Park & Ride
MAJOR CHANGES FOR THE 2009/2010 SEASON
As of the new season (09/10) Shrewsbury Town Football Club have asked for changes on the following services provided by Tanat Valley:
S1 Shrewsbury Town Centre - The Prostar Stadium
The weekday evening service will no longer operate. This service will only operate on Saturdays and on certain 'High Profile' games at the request of STFC.
S2 Oxon Park & Ride - The Prostar Stadium
This service will no longer operate on any match day. However should STFC require the service it will run when needed. Also the S3 Shirehall & S4 Harlescott will still be operating so you alternately use either of these services.
Tanat Valley Coaches in co-operation with Boultons of Shropshire and Birch Travel will be operating services to the The Prostar Stadium from:
S1 Shrewsbury Bus Station
S3 Shirehall Park & Ride
S4 Harlescott Park & Ride
S1 Express Service from Shrewsbury Bus Station to The Prostar Stadium
The service will start from the layby outside the 'island' bus shelters at Shrewsbury Bus Station. The route will be through the Town Centre, along old Potts Way and Hazeldine Way to Meole Brace Island and then along Oteley Road to The Prostar Stadium
Buses depart:
13:00, 13:45 & 14:30 for 15:00 kick-off
18:30 & 19:15 for 19:45 kick-off
Fares:
Adult: £3 return / £2 Single
Children 5-15: £2 return / £1.35 Single
Children under 5: Free
Shropshire Disrict/Borough and Telford & Wrekin
Concessionary Travel Passes are valid
After the Match:
Buses will depart approximately 10 minutes after the game finishes to the original pick-up point. There will be a second departure 30 minutes later only if there are any passengers who were unable to travel on the first bus due to it being full
S3 Shirehall Park & Ride
The service will pick up at the Park & Ride bus stop near the staff entrance to Shirehall. The route will be from Shirehall along Wenlock Road then to the The Prostar Stadium.
Buses Depart:
approx 10-15 minutes intervals starting at 13:00 till the last one at 14:30 for 15:00 kick-off starting at 18:30 till the last one at 19:30 for 19:45 kick-off
Fares:
Adult: £2.50 return Children 5-15: £2.50 return Children under 5: Free
After the Match:

The service will pick up at the Park & Ride bus shelter. The route will be from Harlescott Park & Ride site along A49 & A5 to Emstrey Island and then along old A5 to the The Prostar Stadium.

Adult: £2.50 return
Children 5-15: £2.50 return

Lost property
Tanat Valley Coaches in co-operation with Boultons of Shropshire and Birch Travel operate the above services. Tanat Valley operate the S1 Express Service, Boultons of Shropshire operate the S3 Shirehall Park & Ride whilst Birch Travel operate the S4 Harlescott Park & Ride.
